Trakbar is smart Business Intelligence and Big Data analytics company in hospitality.
We are a startup in the current Techstars Metro accelerator class and we are ready to grow our team!

Our next milestone is an expansion into the German market, starting with Berlin, and we are looking for a passionate hustler that can work and grow with us.

Working with us will be engaging, fun, challenging, stressful at times, but most importantly you will learn, grow, make some money, and be part of a global team that is driven and motivated to help small restaurant and bar owners grow their businesses!

You will be working directly alongside the co-founders, Igor and Gabi, in helping them launch Trakbar into the German market. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to have a huge impact on a growing business and be a major part of a core team.

You need to learn our product inside and out and understand exactly how to use it, how to sell it, how to teach it, and everything else in between. You will be responsible for helping train and support external sales reps, who are going to be actively marketing and selling our service.

As a Channel Sales/Marketing Manager, you will:
Be a Trakbar Wiz
Manage Relationships With Channel Partners
Train and monitor an external sales team
Do Sales support, marketing, and promotion

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and prospect potential business partners
Open new sales channels and partnerships
Provide product and technical support to partners
Help with sales materials
Working with founders on marketing campaigns
Understand and expand on customer needs and requirements
Research accounts, identify key players and generate traction
Manage, nurture, and expand relationships with the outside sales reps
Attending trade shows and conferences occasionally

Wanted skills:
Mother tongue German speaker
Fluent English speaker
A hustler - an out of the box thinker
Somebody who is familiar with Food and Beverage industry
Negotiating and leadership
Hard worker and self-starter
Extraordinary communication skills, both written and oral
Able to prioritize and effectively manage time
Bachelor’s degree and/or some track record in sales is a plus
Experience in the Hospitality industry is a plus but not mandatory
