Java is totally your thing? From web, server to desktop applications, you understand the versatility. With years of experience developing various applications, you are confident in your abilities to participate in developing products for one of Germany's largest direct banks and it's millions of
You will participate in conceptualizing and development of the backend of an enterprise-grade B2B financial product, which means that you need to understand requirements and develop full Java solutions for them. You will also Conceptualize and develop various micro-services as part of the same Java solution, for one user story at a time. Also don't forget to investigate alternatives and technologies, supplementing our perpetual quest for betterment.
You should have have more than 5 years of experience in Java and deep knowledge of Java 8 and higher levels. You say yes to Java and you are passionate about developing great products and continuously teach yourself new things. You need to be able to solve the architectural and design problems and explain them clearly because we think it's vital that you can help and coach the other team members that might not have as much experience as you. You have a formal education in computer science? Cool. You don't? Also cool, tell us your story. You're comfortable with a diverse set of tools (e.g. Spring Boot, Hibernate ORM, PostgreSQL or Oracle) and Agile, Scrum and Sprint are not just words for you - they are a way of working that you are acquainted with.
Bonus: You have knowledge of Kotlin. You are familiar with the Self Contained System Concept. You have a Startup and/or Finance background. You have frontend experience as well (e.g. Spring). You have experience with RabbitMQ as a message broker.
Big bonus: You speak German, and if not, the idea of learning it appeals to you.
